It took me a few years longer than my then peers to graduate. I changed my major three times. Some would look at me and say I was a quitter (someone even suggested I drop out of college altogether, even though grades weren’t my issue.) I wasted money and time. But had I not done that, I wouldn’t be what I am today, and what I am today, for now at least, makes me come home at night and feel, more or less, accomplished. At the very least, I feel content with things the way they are now with life and everything else. I for one think that’s an accomplishment, and no one remembers calling me a quitter some years ago. So that’s something.
